Description: It just had to be, the Cortina from Life On Mars was tracked down in my county today (Thursday 31/1/8) by a news team only about 40 miles from my front door! WOW! We don't get many celebs up in Lincolnshire. Infact, we don't get much of anything in Lincolnshire hahaha. 'THAT CAR' was infact a 1975 2000E and not a 1973 GXL as was portrayed in the series. However, it's alive and well in Sutton On-Sea near Mablethorpe and worth every penny of it's 10 grand. Just like my Dad's car in 1974, but his was Miami Blue with a black vinyl roof - no expense spared eh? But at least my Dad put some wing mirrors on his car - hahaha.... Let's hope Gene's new Audi Quatro lives up to the same legendary standards in the new Ashes to Ashes series starting next Thursday the 7th of Feb. Can't wait - stay cool and rock-on - love Alan xx
