Description: This is a 10 minute flight in a Enstrom F280FX 225HP turbocharged engine. Speeds of 122MPH, useful load of 1030lbs, gross 2600lbs, HIGE 13,600', 3.5 hour endurance, 58" wide 3 person cabin. Pilot Bob and Cameron (CFI) Bay Helicoptours of San Carlos and Hemet. (LA & SF) Cameron is a great flight instructor and the 280FX a great trainer helicopter as well as a stable and easy to fly platform. Our trip is over a couple of warm, clear and windy days out of Hemet and French Valley airport. The Enstrom is a 3 bladed rotor system and is one of the safest helicopters to fly. The are still in production today and produce about 30 to 40 piston and turbine helicopters a year.
