Description: Surprised there isn't more of these online- Cal Worthington practically owned the airwaves, his commercials were inescapable. He owned Worthington Chevrolet in Sacramento, and a few other car dealers on the West Coast. I heard he just retired not too long ago.
I pretty much quit watching TV in the 90s, but all through the 80s these commercials usually included the "Cal Worthington and his dog Spot" intros that dated back to the 60s, along with the "Go see Cal" theme song that many misinterpreted as "Pussy Cow".
The video glitches are from the TV broadcast's master, just adds to the flavor of local commercials.
