The appearance comes on the heels of Wednesday's announcement that the company went public under the stock symbol OTC.FTMMD, offering fans of racing the first-of-its-kind opportunity to own a share of a race car. The Fortune Market Racing Team is part of the Grand-Am Rolex Sports Car Series and the only team on the west coast. It hit the track for the first time at the Daytona International Speedway during the Grand-Am Rolex Sports Car Series Pirelli open tests. The 2008 season will start with the grueling Rolex 24 hours of Daytona Jan. 26 and 27, 2008. Fortune Market's entertainment division, Future Rhythm, promises an announcement soon regarding a tie-in to the Daytona 24 race. Also under the company's umbrella is Fortune Market Radio, creator of program "Your Money's Worth," which on 97.1 KLSX Free FM in Los Angeles, which frequently carries news about the racing team.
