Description: The annual Kinetic Sculpture Race in Humboldt County, northern California, is a unique event featuring hand-built, people-powered riding sculptures in a three day race from Arcata to Ferndale, a total of 32 miles of sand dunes, highways, water crossings and mud slicks. This is the start of the race, at noon on Saturday of Memorial Day weekend. 5 minutes of Kinetic madness ... for the Glory!
