Description: Here's another neighbor. What's he doing that's so noisy? He's washing the car with a power washer. What's the problem? Well, it's 7:45, almost night time, and a little too late to be using power tools.
Here's the city code: construction work can be done Monday - Friday from the hours of 7:00 am to 6:00 pm. Heavy equipment and power tools are restricted to weekdays from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. On Saturday from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, a homeowner, not a construction crew, can do work. No construction work is allowed on Sunday and holidays.
The washing ended exactly at 8. Well, maybe tho is guy thinks that power tools are allowed until 8:00. It's too noisy next to the washer to notice that no one else in town is making that kind of noise. Fortunately my other neighbors use a regular hose or take their cars to the car wash.
I looked up the city code after I got home to check the hours for power tools. After I realized he was 3 hours too late, I started to get a little peeved. These rules are for a reason, to help give us a little peace and quiet in the evening. During the day there is lots of construction.
