Union Pacific steam locomotive 844 Blast thru Wyoming east of Pine Bluffs at 130pm MST

I chased the world's largest operating steam locomotive, Union Pacific's 4-6-6-4 Challenger #3985 from Cheyenne, Wyoming to North Platte Nebraska. It's on the first leg of a tour to St. Paul, Minnesota.

Union Pacific's greatest articulated steam locomotives put on a fine show while traversing the tough route over Sherman Hill in southeastern Wyoming. UP Challengers in Laramie and Borie, and UP Big Boy 4019 is seen operating around Cheyenne, Forell, and between Emkay and Lynch WY.
