My friend Luke and I trying to start and idle a 1976 Ford LTD Country Squire station wagon. It sat in the woods only occasionally being started for about 5-6 years. I will try to answer comments as best that I can, but keep in mind this isn't my car. So the answers may take awhile.

1974 Ford Ranchero Squire

The old gold coloured MC4 lasted 63 seconds on average, the new silver one, well, considerably less. Sorry about the video quality, I'll do another one tomorrow maybe. I've done this one in 2 seconds before but having a lazy day today :o)

A near miss with a lorry

Here is my new Ford family member, a 1978 Ford LTD Country Squire wagon. I bought the '78 as a replacement for my '77 wagon. The '77 was in a accident being trailer towed by my best friend. This is Aunt Edna. She is a 1977 Ford LTD Country Squire. These kings of the road once ruled the automotive landscape, now slowly being forgotten. She was found under a tree in 2004, sitting for three years. It had mold growing inside the windows and was being used for storage by the farmer that owned it. I paid.... more
