Soo Line 1003 2-8-2 Mikado type steam locomotive from the Soo Line Railroad. The train's caboose had just been restored and was all prepared for Santa. The video was shot in Hartford, Wisconsin just outside of the Wisconsin Automotive Museum where the engine is stored when it is not running. Filmed on November 11, 2006.

When the Wisconsin & Southern Railroad held a birthday party for it's roundhouse in Janesville, Wisconsin, Soo Line 1003 was invited to the celebration. A long goods train with engines Canadian-Pacific 8536 and SOO Line 6038 leaving from Montreal

SOO Line SD60 6037 and BNSF SD40-2 7818 (BN Cascade green) lead an eastbound stack train through Wilmington, IL. on the BNSF Chillicothe Subdivision. SOO Line was a great catch on the BNSF! Since this day, I've seen a few other SOO units trailing. Filmed on June 12th, 2008.
