I use the laptop mostly for camping 10-12 times a year. It gives me GPS,DVD,MP3. I can create time lapse and upload my photo's and videos right at the site. I am a VERY serious camper!

This was last summer camping.It was going to rain so I setup my Element to sleep in and it was very comfortable.

you are right the board is only 51 inchs but... when you are going to sleep on it you take the head rest off the driver side and passenger side seats then move them up and recline them all the way down so they meet the new platform.
