I took a break from life after Trop Storm Fay.

Orion 05.501 #517 was on a yard move at the Casey Stengel Bus Depot, which is across the street from Shea Stadium in Flushing, Queens. This was not a bad shot! It would have been nice if I could have caught the Manhatthan Skyline in the process but the trees were blocking the view.

While waiting an eternity for the M-31 I shot this in about 10 minutes..... Buses from (at least) College Point Depot, Far Rockaway Depot, Casey Stengel Depot, Yukon Depot and 126 Street Depot... Orion 07.501 Low Floor Hybrid #6849 was on the Q14 traveling along Northern Blvd, passing by the start of Linden Place and was heading towards 14th Av in Whitestone, Queens. This was a great "Spur of the moment" videos because the Hybrids from Casey Stengel sound REALLY good. I'm glad Casey Stengel got these Hybrids! LOL! Enjoy!

This beautiful car originally belonged to Casey Stengel, manager of the N.Y. Yankees, and was given to Enos Slaughter of that team. Hemi, elaborate air cleaners and carburetors and early power steering and brakes. Various memorablilia came with the car. Surely one of a kind!

This is the most busiest intersection I ever came across. There were lots of buses going by. You see a Jamaica-Merrick Boulevard bound #505 Q20A local bus with a whiteback about to turn onto Main Street from Roosevelt Avenue, then you see another whiteback Orion V (not sure if it was a Q44 or Q20A/B). Orion 05.501 #312 was on the Q31 and was heading towards Francis Lewis Blvd-27th Av in Bayside, Queens. Anotherwords, in the middle of nowhere...LOL!
