Driving an M1 from Jamaica to Hicksville. You may want to turn down the volume during the clips of the inside of the train because something happened with the sound when I recorded it. It sounds fine in the Simulator but on the video it sounds weird. Anyway enjoy the video

3 minutes of announcments aboard a LIRR M7 train

DMs 518 and 522 take a six car train to Oyster Bay for the Oyster Festival. They then move on to the yard, and come back a short time later for the run back to Mineola. Sounds like 518's horn has a cold or something, hope it gets better soon...

This was taken July 5 at the Mineola station on the Long Island Railroad mainline. Here we see East-bound DE30AC #420 pull in three Kawasaki bi-levels (2 trailers and one cab) in service on the Oyster Bay branch. Say whatever you want about these engines, you gotta love those bells and prime movers!
