On a test bombing run, a Navy F-18 Hornet drops a 250 lb. bomb right in the path of the chase plane.

A few shots of my HET electric ducted fan F18 flying at Chobham Common, 12/8/07. Its running a 6904 fan, 2w20 700w motor, castle creations 60A esc, and a flightpower 4S 3700 pack. Safe flight times are 6-7 minutes with no heat problems. It uses 2 x metal geared cirrus servos on the al flying elevons, and the radio.... more
