The Gen1 version of the EV1 was recalled back in March 2006 due to an electical issue. The day before I took my last ride. I was later able to get a Gen2 but had to return it when the lease expired as GM ended the program, the car was later crushed by GM.

WWU now keeps this revived EV1 in hiding, "off the streets", in obedience to evil GM. Will they dare to drive or video it? Of the original 1115 GM EV1s only 40 or so still exist. These were severely disabled by GM and given to universities and museums.
